Who we are…
Bravemōode [brave-mode] Studios is a Fashion Media organization that will offer the world’s first co-creating studio and fellowship space for fashion professionals and students of Color. The studio will foster equitable opportunities and provide industry-standard resources for Black fashion and beauty freelancers and HBCU fashion students.
We currently serve our community in 3 ways:
YouTube tutorials | Virtual Fashion Mentorship | Bravemoode Podcast
Our why is simple…
To make the fashion and beauty industry accessible and EQUITABLE for professionals of color and to bridge the (massive) gap between the fashion industry and HBCU's.

“I have a responsibility with my craft to use it to heal, uplift, and rebuild (the black community) ...one project at a time.”

FOUNDER’S STORY
“I AM CREATIVE BY WAY OF THE ULTIMATE CREATOR, therefore, my work is not merely a showcase of me playing ‘dress-up’ with a model…what I truly desire is for my work to be a visual microphone that projects God’s truth, real experiences from real people, particularly African Americans and people of color. I have a responsibility with my talent and craft to use it to heal, uplift, and rebuild...one project at a time.” — Jessica
Charlotte-native and Wardrobe Stylist, Jessica A. Alberto, originally invented the name “Bravemoode” her senior year of college (2013) when God first gave her the desire to create a resource for that would serve fashion industry at-large…but the idea wouldn’t begin to blossom until 2019. In 2019 she started the Bravemoode Studios YouTube channel for aspiring and emerging fashion stylists. It wasn’t until 2021, when the idea for the Bravemoode Studios Creative Life-cycle studio and the App would fully illuminate.
Our story is still being written…stick around to read the rest as it comes or get evolved to be a part of history!
But First, Serve
From our co-workers to our clients/customers, "We come to serve, not to be served." (Mark 10:45) Our team must serve one another before we can serve our clients.
Live Well
Self care is essential to our productivity and to our ability to serve wholeheartedly. We own our work and our wellness.
Be Brave
Every “Brave-Boss” (team members/employee) has the word "boss" in their position title. We believe that every “Brave-Boss” has the autonomy to make their role their own. We want to empower our team members at every level to achieve the company's goals in their own way.
