Artist Spotlight: Fisayo Longe
This trendsetting brand earned Beyonce’s stamp of approval when it came to fashion brands to look out for. Fisayo Longe established her London-based womenswear brand KAI in August 2016 after five years of building an online presence with her blog. Longe was a well known fashion and travel blogger before she started her brand. KAI is focused on selling attainable clothing with luxury aesthetics for multidimensional women who want to embrace their femininity in various forms. The brand is known for its vibrant pieces, especially their famous Gaia dress, which launched in 2019, went viral on Instagram, and was seen on many influencers. The support for the brand grew even more after it was featured on Beyonce’s Directory of Black-owned Businesses on her website. The brand has also been featured in other press features in major magazines like ELLE and Vogue.
