Makeup Artist play an important role in creating looks for celebrities and making sure that they look good for everything they do. Celebrity MUAs are always giving tips and tricks to their followers on Instagram and giving you the behind-the-scenes on some of their projects. There is a lot of makeup artists on Instagram but here are some of the most popular and influential makeup artist you should follow:
This celebrity makeup artist was trained in Paris and now she works as a Chanel MUA. She also has web series that explores the conceptual design behind celebrity looks that she does with hairstylist Bryce Scarlett, called Adjoining Rooms. Her clients include Zoe Kravitz and Brie Larsen, and Jung Ho-yeon.

AJ Crimson is both a self-taught makeup artist and an entrepreneur. His clients include Christina Milian, Brandy, Raven-Symone, Estelle, Regina King, Angela Bassett, Missy Elliot, and more. Crimson’s products are also used on the tv shows like American Horror Story, Empire, Scandal, Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, and The View.

Similar to many other makeup artists Sir Jhon got his start at a MAC Cosmetics makeup counter in New York City. Sir John would go on to work with industry icon Pat McGrath for fashion week in Milan. His clientele includes Naomi Campbell, Beyonce, Olivia Culpo, and Ashley Graham.

Working with celebrities like Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, and Tinashe, Anthony creates effortless bold looks. Her work can be seen in the pages of publications such as Wonderland, GQ, The New York Times, and Glamour.
