Artist Spotlight: Supriya Lele

Supriya Lele is a British-Indian fashion designer, whose brand reflects both her Indian and British heritage with minimalistic fashion. Before she was born both of her parents moved from India to the UK. She spent some of her childhood in India but grew up mostly in the West Midlands. Lele studied for 6 months as an architect before studying fashion design. After graduating she came out with her namesake brand that includes pieces that blur the line between cultures. In the future Lele hopes to express her brand more in digital spaces and express more alternative approaches to exhibiting her designs. Her recent SS ‘22 collection included sheer dress, draped leather tops, hip-exposing skirts, and a glittery fishnet dress.
